Last Saturday, from 4.00 to 5.00 pm Eastern Time, Suzana Apelbaum was answering to our twitter’s followers questions in real time. We have put together the interview for you!

Hope you enjoy it…

AdWomen- Which quality is the most important to reach the top in this industy? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- It’s a mix. But you have to have passion and curiosity. Passion will make sure you’ll be happy even with so many difficulties. And curiosity will keep your mind and eyes open to interesting things that will inspire and keep your work always fresh and original #WFCD

WFCD- What kind of difficulties have you suffered?? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- One example: clients always say they want to innovate. So you work hard and come up with really good ideas and work hard for them but they are not really ready to innovate or take the risks we’d need to make the innovation happen. #WFCD

AdWomen- Which campaign would you say you have done it with more passion? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- #WFCD I do all my work in passion. But the one I did with even more passion was to build my own agency. It was a camapign for Gradiente, an interactive series, I wrote the scripts and even directed the actor who was playing the main role #WFCD

Miss Vidal- Who’s work do you admire??

Suzana Apelbaum- I admire Goodby’s Silverstein work, Crispin’s…and in terms of people I really admire PJ Pereira and Alessandra Lariu and Scott Goodson. #WFCD

Mia Dahlmer- What advice would you give to someone starting their own agency? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- Think twice haha 😉 Just kidding… But you really have to see what’s your strategic positioning in the industry #WFCD

AdWomen- What advice would you give to the young female creatives???

Suzana Apelbaum– Work hard. Be nice to people. Be strong. Believe in yourself. Never stop learning. #WFCD

WFCD- When would you say you have reached the top? And Why? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- I haven’t reached the top 🙂 #WFCD

WFCD- Good answer! How do you see yourself in 7 years? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- With a different hair. That’s all I know about 7 years from now 🙂 #WFCD

Mia Dahlmer- What do you see as some of the biggest trends in advertising for 2011? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- Advertising is gonna be more and more about services and entertainment. And Mobile devices -especially apps- will be huge. #WFCD

Mia Dahlmer- What are some of your big goals 2011? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- My 2011 big goa lis to take StrawberryFrog to the next level in terms of creative Works. And to get used to the NYwinter :-/. Another goal for 2011 is to learn more about mobile devices and how to use them to do communications for brands. #WFCD

Jen A- What advice would you give to a creative female Marketing Communications Graduate trying to get into Advertising? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- Put together a portfolio with creative Works, even if they are for “fake” jobs. Agencies need to see your potential. #WFCD

Rhaissa Vitor- What was the funniest thing you’ve done to get out of a creative crisis?! #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- I produced and acted in a theater play. It was a monologue and I spent my vacations working on it. A monologue! #WFCD

AdWomen- What do you think is the influence of Women in Key positions at agencies? #WFCD

Suzana Apelbaum- The influence of women in key positions is huge. Many times we teach men how to manage teams. #WFCD
