Uschi, Executive Creative Director, founding partner of Zapping M&C Saatchi, has a degree in Communication Design at Darmstadt.
She finished her studies, and began her career at Young & Rubicam Frankfurt in Munich and then in Madrid before joining the agency Contrapunto, Madrid where she worked for 5 years, during which Contrapunto was chosen by Advertising Age Agency of the Year. Uschi then continued her career at Lowe, Grupo Barro / Testa and Zapping / M&C Saatchi where she is partner, founder and Executive Creative Director.
This was an action we did for Mercedes, which basicalyl turned the
famous -error page- you see when typing in an internet address wrong,
into a platform for advertising. It was the first time this had been
done. This example is for the New York Times.
This piece is an extended version (in English) of the autumn TV
spot for the large Spanish department store El Corte Ingles. Focusing
on the fashion department, this campaign was directed at a younger
target and presented ECI as a more fashion savvy place to shop while
maintaining the genuine spanish style.
This is a video for an action we
did to promote the Disney Film, Toy Story 3. I have sent the English
version and it is self explanitory so you will see what I mean.
Her work has received over one hundred national and international awards with different clients in festivals such as Cannes and New York Festival, AD & D, Clio, Epica, Eurobest, FIAP, El Sol / San Sebastian, Laus, CdeC, and pencils in the One Show.
She has been a judge on two occasions in the Cannes Festival and the CdeC, on three occasions she was part of the Laus jury, and has also been a judge at El Sol / San Sebastian, Eurobest, Genius, The New York Festival, El Ojo de Iberoamerica and Festival Caribe.
